Post-Operative Instructions of Masseter Botox

  • Avoid excessive head movement for 4 hours after Botox application (avoiding lying down, tilting the head forward, backwards, right, or left).
  • Refrain from washing the face, taking a shower, or swimming on the day of Botox application.
  • Mild swelling, redness, bruising, or yellowing may occur at the injection site and will typically resolve completely within 1-2 weeks.
